Nominees for Deacon

Jamie Crenshaw
My name is Jamie Crenshaw. My husband and I have been members of Kirk Crossing since 2018. I live in Jenks with my husband Derrick, our 2 boys Spencer and Parker, and our 2 dogs. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from NSU. I have always loved working with young children. I have been a teacher for 9 years and currently teach in Glenpool as a kindergarten teacher and team leader. I love helping in Sunday school! My husband and I teach the 2 year old class and have for 3 years. We love watching our class learning about God and the Church. I am very excited and humbled to be serving as an early childhood Deacon.

Carisa Smith
My name is Carisa Smith. I am married to Chad and we have three very active children (Ella, age 14; Harison, age 11; Crosley, age 8) who keep us constantly on the go! I have been teaching for 20 years. For the past 17 of those years, I have had the privilege to serve as a Reading Specialist with Jenks Public Schools at the elementary level. I absolutely adore my role in teaching beginning readers the skills they need to be successful readers! In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, tackling home projects, rare date nights with Chad, cheering on my kids in their activities, and spending time with dear friends and family. We have been at Kirk Crossing for a little over three years and I serve in Children’s Ministry. What energizing joy to experience worship with our elementary aged kids upstairs! They are a treasure and I look forward to watching them grow through the years!
