Crossing Kids

Crossing Kids ONLINE!

Just because we cannot meet in person doesn’t mean we cannot learn more about God! Every Sunday morning, join us on Zoom for our LIVE Kids Bible Story times with Mrs. Jamie & Mr. Cole! Links to join will be emailed and posted on our Facebook page every week.

  • Kiddos at 10:00 AM
  • Kids at 10:30 AM

If you cannot join us online, you can still watch our Bible Stories anytime throughout the week using the Parent Cue “Sunday At Home” resource! Click the boxes below to watch our First Look “Ollie” video, our elementary 252 Kids story, and our Ignite So&So Show videos!

You can also download easy-to-use parent guides with fun activities and discussion prompts, so families can review the video presentations and talk about what to do with what they’ve learned.

Kids Sunday Morning Programs On Zoom

Moving forward, we are wanting to start something new that will also feel more familiar for families. Beginning June 7th, we will be having all our Bible Stories meetings on Sunday morning via Zoom!

Here is how it will work:

  • Each week we will email and post on our Facebook page the weekly link, meeting ID, and password for our Zoom call.
  • Kiddos Zoom Bible Story will begin at 10:00 am led by Jamie Soderstrom. Jamie will lead the Kiddos in their weekly story time and an interactive activity.
  • Kids Zoom Bible Story will begin at 10:30 am on the same call (same meeting ID and password) with Mr. Cole.
More Sunday Morning Zoom Information

Elementary kids (including Kindergarten through 6th grade) will begin in the Zoom meeting for Large Group time and learn our weekly Bible Study. Next, kids will move into grade-based breakout rooms similar to their normal Small Groups.

  • Small Group breakouts will be led by their usual fantastic Sunday morning Small Group Leaders.
  • The call will last around 40-45 minutes.

As much as we would love to resume meeting together in-person, we do not have an estimated date for when that will happen. This will be our plan for this Summer and we can adapt and change as the situation develops. We will continue to post our weekly Bible story videos on our website as well if you cannot make it live.

Please note, while in-person Worship is happening at Kirk Crossing, there is not childcare or children’s programming available. If you would like to attend Worship in person, kids are welcome to join with their families. Also, Crossing Students will be meeting at 10:30 am via a separate Zoom call for 7th-12th graders.

Kirk Crossing Kids are All In!

We believe the Bible should never be boring. Our large group worship time can be loud, energetic, messy and full of drama!   In our small groups kids learn how God’s Word shapes their lives, discover how they too can talk to God, and experience genuine community.  Our leaders always care and can’t wait to connect with your kids!

Sunday Morning for your Kids is made up of two parts:

– Large group time: opening game, worship, and Bible story
    – Small group time: games, activities, Bible reading, and prayer

We also send a Weekly Parent Cue email to keep you informed and “cue” you to help reinforce our weekly lessons throughout the week.

IGNITE | Preteen Ministry

SUNDAY MORNINGS
10:30 a.m.
Ignite Room

SUNDAY EVENINGS
6:00 p.m.
Ignite Room

IGNITE is a two-year ministry that is unique to preteens. IGNITE exists to transition 5th and 6th graders from KX Kids to the KX Student ministry as they continue their journey In Christ, In, Community, and In the World all while providing a fun environment where preteens want to hang out with one another!

IGNITE is made up of two parts:

  • On Sunday Mornings our focus is to give preteens a biblical foundation to help them navigate their world as followers of Christ. We study the Word of God and discuss how it applies to each of our lives.  And we have DONUTS!

  • On Sunday Evenings our focus on growing In Christ through the personal study of Scripture. Each week we read the Bible and then process what we read through journaling. We also develop a mission mindset to serve our community through local mission projects.
