In The World
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
God has called his church to be a people who are on a mission. We are In The World when we are sharing the Good News of the Gospel both in our communities and around the world.

Mercy Mission (http://www.mercymission2.org/)
Mercy Mission originally began in the early 1980’s to serve those less fortunate in Glenpool with food and other assistance. Today, MMII is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with board members from 5 area churches. Mercy Mission II remains true to the original dream, with the intent of expanding services to help those in the South County area.
NorthStar Bridge (https://www.facebook.com/northstarbridge/)
NorthStar Bridge shares the Good News and serves our city in practical ways. Their goal is to come along side of already planted and established churches to assist them with community engagement by bringing serve trucks, groceries, product and last but not least, training. We encourage everyone to be involved in doing good for Christ’s sake. Every second Saturday of the month is Serve Saturday. Volunteers gather together at NorthStar Bridge to pack groceries and supplies to be sent out in Eastern Oklahoma.
The Crossing Assist Ministry allows our church to respond to specific short-term urgent needs in the congregation. Requests should be emailed to Crossing@kirkcrossing.com.
Short Term Missions Teams
At this time, all of our Mission trips are canceled due to COVID-19. We look forward to having opportunities for you to be a part of a short term mission trip. Our short term missions teams support the work of long term missionaries with whom Kirk Crossing partners.

Richard and Mary Ballenger
About Their Work
Mongolia V.E.T. Net is a national NGO that has come from the work of Christian Veterinary Mission in Mongolia. The two major ministries of V.E.T. Net are the veterinary ministry and the rural education ministry. Veterinarians play a major role in outreach to herder families as no other profession has access to the herders like their veterinarian. And it would be almost impossible to reach out to the herders in mass without the assistance of remote veterinarians. Our teacher outreach, called “Claim a County,” began in 1996 by helping the teachers and administrators in the small rural schools to improve the learning environment for the children with materials, books, training and often improving the conditions of the school. A small home-group or church develops in virtually every county where “Claim a County” is implemented. The great challenge is to disciple these rural believers so that they become multipliers and expand the ministry in their area.
