Reconciliation is a major component of the unity which the Lord has given to us. In the early Church, the Gospel did what no one else could do (or even thought possible): it brought Jews & Gentiles together into one community. Paul says that Jesus broke down the wall of separation between the two groups and created a ‘new humanity’. The Church continues to be that new humanity which means that reconciliation continues to be an important result of the Gospel.
In this message we learn that the world is still fractured and we need to examine our own hearts to prevent ourselves from contributing to it. We also learn that God is still reconciling; He’s still bringing unity to all things in Christ. Finally, we learn that God is still building His Church.
