The next dynamic in terms of membership in the Church is accountability. Accountability is something we desire for others but rarely for ourselves. In Galatians 6.1-5, Paul teaches us that accountability is at the heart of Christian community because we all bear a mutual responsibility to safeguard not only the standards of God’s community, but the spiritual and circumstantial wellbeing of one another. In this message, we learn that none of is as strong as we might think. We also learn that accountability is for our good, not our shame, it is to be maintained in the Spirit, and both requires and produces humility.
