The third stop on our map is our third area of growth In Christ: Wisdom. Wisdom doesn’t consist of quoting pithy sayings, nor is it just the product of experience. The simplest definition of biblical wisdom is applying the knowledge God gives to everyday life. It’s not enough to just have knowledge; we need to put what we know into practice… in every area of our lives.
Proverbs 3.13-26 offers us at least four reasons that wisdom is a blessing from the Lord. First, it is of the utmost value. Second, it is life-giving. Third, it literally makes the world go ’round. And fourth, it requires effort; we must hold on to it diligently.
