As soon as the Gospel (the announcement of God’s saving work through Jesus) began to be proclaimed in the first century, it began to encounter obstacles. The Good News was not always received as ‘good’ and continues to encounter obstacles right up to the present time.

On his first missionary journey, the Apostle Paul came face to face with some of these obstacles. Chapters 13 and 14 of the book of Acts tell the story of that journey and help us understand that, though there is real opposition to the Gospel, it proves over and over again to be Unstoppable.
